BERTHAJU RELEASES NEW SINGLE “Loveseats”

BERTHAJU is releasing their new song, “Loveseats”, the grand finale of the long-awaited Tickets To The Cinema EP. The track showcases the band’s signature blend of indie-rock energy with a funny story line and crowd vocals, perfectly closing the EP’s journey.

After being featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds GSA and completing a UK tour earlier this year, BERTHAJU is now performing over 20 shows across the Netherlands for Popronde 2025 before heading to Germany in early 2026. Their energetic live shows have played a major role in building a dedicated fanbase across Europe, with audiences drawn to the band’s energetic stage presence, choreographies, and band chemistry.

Following its release on limited edition vinyl earlier this year, “Loveseats” now makes its official digital debut.

With a full music video shot in a real cinema and a special release show, BERTHAJU continues to rise in the European indie scene.

“Loveseats” will be available on all streaming platforms Thursday, October 24th.

BERTHAJU

BERTHAJU is a female-gaze indie rock band from Rotterdam. Along with songs about old white men getting divorced and caring less about what other people think, you can expect a full-on show with choreographies and a bass player breaking his legs while jumping. BERTHAJU is not leaving the stage until everyone is sweating and dancing their ass off.

In 2025, BERTHAJU is releasing their second self-written and produced EP, “Tickets To The Cinema”, coming October 24th. Diving even deeper into their indie rock era, the record radiates unapologetic female energy and celebrates independence in every way possible.

Alongside the digital release coming soon, BERTHAJU is excited to make her vinyl debut, which is now available to purchase at shows and online.

After kicking off the year with a UK tour, BERTHAJU is now part of Popronde 2025, bringing her high-energy live show to over 20 stages across the Netherlands. Next up, she’s preparing for her first Germany tour, which kicks off in March 2026.
